Nonsense Miguel, I like to see what you're doing with the restoration, it's as legitimate a build as anything else you see in my opinion, keep the pictures and progress coming please!

Re: Datsun 510 SSS
Now don't get me wrong here. I wasn't trying to disrespect your car in any way at all. It's a beautiful car. I just didn't think of you "restoring" the car for some reason, it does deserve to be in this section, there's no doubt about that. Keep up the good work. I know not everyone on here that's building 510's have the skills and equiptment that some of the other guys do, but I think there are a couple of cars in the project section that deserve to be in here. And Okayfine, where on earth have you been?

The calipers painted:
the pistons in place
Now mounted:
This calipers are from Volvo...The system of oil tube is double, had to take two tubes of oil ... but the datsun only have a tube, so I made an application in order to get just 1 tube ...
Now the tube already in place
The calipers on spot
the pistons in place
Now mounted:

Friends this week walked back from the door trims ...
I got a new rubber seals to make, because I do not like the rubber source here are the photos of the work ...
The new rubber bought:
As this rubber is not directly applicable, I had to make some adjustments to get to the place ...
A cut side ...
Then went to get the plate that is holding the rubber and put new staples
Here is a photo of the rubber in place, all the plates and springs are galvanized ...

Brilliant as always, Miguel!
Because when you spend a silly amount of money on a silly, trivial thing that will help you not one jot, you are demonstrating that you have a soul and a heart and that you are the sort of person who has no time for Which? magazine. – Jeremy Clarkson
