Little Orange Jellybean
Re: Little Orange Jellybean
Nice!! almost had myself an orange wagon last year, oh well..no time anyway.
Your gonna HATE those lowering blocks, I had 'em on the goon and the axel hop was killer. Spring shop added a full-length leaf and de-arched the pack for very little cash, was a major improvment!

No problem with wheel hop as I don't drive hard... I never even try to spin the tires on any of my vehicles... I get accused of driving like a little old lady at times.

Got the spoiler installed today. This Futo Fab spoiler truly is a fine fitting piece and it looks great.

Re: Little Orange Jellybean
Terry,
Your spoiler looks great!
Just so everyone understands Terry’s effort, the outside of the ducts and the back of the spoiler is the raw fiberglass back surface of the part (the face and insides of the ducts is the molded surface). All Terry’s hard work and attention to the small details makes the finished product look like a million bucks!
Thank you for the kind words on the fitment of FutoFab’s BRE style spoilers, but the excellent job you put into finishing it most certainly is humbling.

That spolier looks beautiful, it's just me but if you painted the back flat black wouldn't it hide the imperfections? Just my opinion for what's it's worth!

Hey Terry, that is cool you put a "spook" on your wagon. Here is a picture of my 1972 wagon..in 1972, with a BRE spoiler on there. I used to bust those things like crazy, as I was going off road with my wagon also. Your pictures sure brought back memories for me.

Got my front coil over struts, hubs and rotors sandblasted and have started the repaint. Will install new bearings, races and seals.

Re: Little Orange Jellybean
How did you build those struts? they look like they are capable of adjusting spring pre-load while still being able to adjust ride height....can I see more?? thanks!! ....the wagon looks nice!

Re: Little Orange Jellybean
goichi1... I did not build these struts. This is how they came from the P/O. It appears to be overkill the way they were built. I don't know why there is such a long tube on the lower portion... maybe he cut the tube low down and this is how he joined the pieces. Just hope they are straight and work as intended.
