heck you can store toys in the ashtrays!
XLNT point!
& seatbelts, i dunno if there were any in the back seats??? :?

as a 6' adult, it sucked back there.
NP in a 4dr/wagon. probably why the current sedan was my first 2dr.

my son, when strapped in, cant roll the window up (or down)
i kept the ashtrays in the back for storage

i grew up traveling the summers in the back seat of the family truckster
been to about 30 states camping in it, mostly in the "way back", in the jumpseat.

[back on topic]did you find a bluebird yet?

Not to interrupt but how about we stick to the original topic and start a new one about back seats, roll cages etc.

Thanks!

You could always help the process along by clarifying what you're looking for. Not all Bluebirds are Coupes; not all Coupes are Ted-Lo-esque. I assume from the picture you're looking at finished, swapped cars? Goichi has got a known-to-The-Realm swapped Coupe that's already been registered in the States.

Firm up your budget and start e-mailing the owners at www.datsunbluebird.com.

Have you considered contacting Ted Lo and asking him whom he sold the car too?

And must be in the US?

The list of Ted-Lo-esque SR Coupes in the US is exceedingly small. Mario Lozano is probably the only other owner of such a beast, at least that comes to me off the top of my head. And Mr. Roberts who posted in this thread.

Everyone's Coupe is for sale at the right price, but your requirements narrow the supply to single-digits.

IMO not in the same league as Ted Lo's ex-Coupe, or Mario's current car, which is the OP's desire.

Well, good luck, but I think you're stuffed. There just aren't that many cars like you want.
nickelNdime wrote:whats it cost to get one shipped to the U.S.?
Shipping prices have fluctuated in the last couple years...it was getting much more expensive right up around the start of the recession, then got dirt cheap afterwards. Shipping itself might be $1500 or so, and add on another $500 or so to hire a broker to clear the car through customs, then reg fees, etc. Not insurmountable, especially when you're dealing with a $10,000+ car in the first place.

I don't think Mario drives a 510/Bluebird without an SR in it  I'm pretty sure he's not still rolling around with the L16 and automatic trans his Coupe originally had

EDIT

That said, I haven't been able to find any hood-up shots from JCCSs-past, so...
