FS: 95' Trans Am $4500 6speed/leather 89k miles

Post by labelskater4 »

Hey guys recently my girlfriend and i found out we are having a baby and now that its getting close to March i've decided to put my Trans Am for sale to have extra money for our baby.( this forum has been really helpful to me in the past =) )

For sale is a 1995 Pontiac Trans Am. Car is clean and very well kept. The car is located in Queen Creek AZ (about 20mins south of Mesa). I bought the car from my Uncle in march of 2008. To my knowlege I am the 3rd owner of this car.

history
The first owner of the car installed a Vortech supercharger along with a extra fuel pump, bigger injectors, and a HI-6, Crane Cams Multi spark. The guy ended up blowing the engine and buying a new LT1 crate engine, which he left normally aspirated and did not put the supercharger back on. My uncle and I do not know what company made the crate engine, we have tried calling the guy but no answer. We think its from Edelbrock since it has Edelbrock shorty headers on it. Not sure of how much hp the crate engine puts down, but it pulls really hard and ran a 13.7 at the dragstrip.

-odometer currently at 89,630miles

Interior/Exterior
-car was repainted dark green in 2007
-has been lowered (not sure what springs are on it)
-OZ rims
-Tires are still fairly new(60%+ life left and no unusual tire wear)
-T top
-Black leather interior only damage is some rubbing on the side of the driver's seat
-Stock Monsoon deck and sound system
-I have the clock spring for the steering wheel stereo system controls(havent had time to install it)

Engine etc.
-Engine was replaced around 35,000 miles
-Tranny was rebuilt at 47,000 miles by Jasper Engines
-At 60,000 miles the rear end had ring and pinion and all bearing replaced and had .373 gears installed
-Header back Borla exhaust 3"
-Edelbrock shorty headers
-K&N cold air intake
-Hotchkis strut tower bar
-Weld in subframe connectors
-Crane cams HI-6 Multy spark Module
-bigger injectors(not sure of the size sorry)
-New AC compressor
-New spark plugs and wires
-New Opti-spark
-New Ignition module and MSD coil
-New front hub bearings
-New front brakes
-6 speed manual tranny
-New Clutch and Flywheel
-BMR Panhard bar

Flaws
The car has recently started to vibrate at 80-90mph. I've talked to a local driveline shop down here and they say the vibration is most likely coming from the driveshaft being out of balance and they quoted me $120 dollars to get it balanced.

The title is clean, notarized, and ready to go. If interested please email me at simsjamie@hotmail.com or pm . 480-250-1201 ask for Jesse Thank you for looking.

-car has only been taken to the drag strip twice and only ran 5 runs total(ran a 13.7)

Here are some pictures, If you would like more pics or a walk around video that i have please email me at simsjamie@hotmail.com
Thank you for looking

People do occasionally own/drive/sell other vehicles. Could tickle somebody's pickle here.

Maybe someone would like to buy it for the drivetrain to swap into a 510, and part out the rest. LT1 6-speed 510 drift car, we'd all love to see that again.

Actually, if I had a clean FD RX-7 body laying around, or E30/6, or S30, 240SX or anything else I could put that motor/tranny into (maybe my rusty MGB?), then...

yeah, that was my next question - is that a car with an LS-1?

Seeing pictures of that interior, I can hear the Van Halen and smell the Vanillaroma from here!!!! hehehehe...
