picked this up a couple years ago and am redoing the wiring and adding some goodies. Going from a MSD 7 box to a 10plus. Adding a Racepak V300 data aquisition system with dash, NLR 1000AMS boost controller, fire supression system and have a second 2850 Pauter motor in the works with a Garrett GT4202R turbo, with mechanical meth injection.

Very Nice ! hows the Ghia holding up?
I have a couple of friends that I used to hang out with in BC that are still into the VW stuff. The turbo car to beat at the time was Darren's Tomato Bullet from CIP.
Darren Dilley car is pretty darn fast as well
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_32v8kiEcw . I guess he has a crazy notch as well. He has always had some fast VW as long as I have know him.
I could go on but this is your thread let us know how it runs this spring. !
One car I wish I had not sold up there was a 54 euro 3 fold rag.

I race against Darren in a few different classes. The Ghia is still sitting quiet in the garage. I haven't had the time to get to it. Also due to an injury at work I haven't been getting a steady pay cheque for some time so only pick away at small stuff. I have run the Bettle on a very light tune up and did a 10:30 142mph. The car as is should run low 9's (high 8"s if I am brave and have a big bank roll to replace parts). Right now I just would like to get it into the mid 9's with the changes I have started.
