510, Northern Europe
510, Northern Europe
Been lurking here since 2016 but the account was deleted due to inactivity(?)
I have a 1972 510 4-door, originally a column shift 3-speed JATCO, currently converting it to a manual (4 speed, for now).
Finding spare parts in Europe is next to impossible, 99% of these cars rusted away decades ago, so I will most likely be posting lots of WANTED ads....

Welcome back!
I’m sure you can find some help here. Lost of good people and as you know - lots of good knowledge too.

Re: 510, Northern Europe
Seems like a '68 or 69 front fender but the JATCO wasn't out until April '71. Someone has changed some things?
I did have a Canadian '68. Does yours have the rear amber turn signals also?

Yep, amber turn signals. I think this was mandatory for 60s/70s cars here?datzenmike wrote: ↑12 May 2021 06:28 Seems like a '68 or 69 front fender but the JATCO wasn't out until April '71. Someone has changed some things?

As far as I can tell this is a pretty much bone stock european spec car. 1600 automatic, with the deluxe badge. Build date late 1971 I think.
Here's a picture from 2016, before I started tinkering with it..
