Electramotive Ignition

Post by tr6racer21 »

Planning a carbed VG conversion and was wondering if anyone has experience using any of the older model or current model Electramotive ignition systems. If so what are your impressions.

Thanks

I have run it on my FJ20 for about 5 years and love it, zero problems and easy to dial in.

I used an HPV-1 on my GT3 car. Worked quite well, but the sensor was the only week spot.

Use the 3/8" diameter trigger sensor. The 5/16" ones fail quite easily.

Look into a Megajolt as well. Ford EDIS based so all the bits and pieces are off the self replacement parts.
