Dust cover for clutch on fire wall.

Post by eastbaysolo_73 »

Does anyone know where I can attain this dust cover boot for the clutch pedal to fire wall. This is on my buddy's right hand drive US sedan conversion. I noticed on my car I don't have the cover and would like to have one.

Thanks in advance

Yes, that boot is stock.

Make sure all the slop is out of the clevis pin, makes the clutch feel way more positive.

Maybe on the Coupe. All my info shows a rounded rubber boot. The slave has that style of bellows boot ... maybe it will fit the master also?.

Will do.. Thanks, I actually just ordered some fluid to fill the clutch reservoir. Gonna fill the transmission also now that the driveshaft is mounted. Photos in my build thread.

Well I talk to Troy Ermish and he said most the US sedans he's dealt with dont have them. I can get a new boot if I replace that part with a new clutch master cylinder deal. For now it can wait because I know this part still works well.

All brake boosters have a bellows style but 1.75" and a gap around the push rod. They all have this gap so not intended to seal out perfectly. So close, I thought I had the answer.
