510 project in san diego
Re: 510 project in san diego
That's really cool. I like this one alot, the building behind your car and the wood in front really looks sweet. The whole industrial thing is awesome.

Re: 510 project in san diego
thanks a lot, i have decided on a engine swap for it. I have been looking at the 1uzfe engine off of a lexus sc400, ive done some measurements and i have like enough room to fit in the engine bay.. for the transmission im going to use one off a 240sx or maybe an sr20 witch ever one i find cheaper I will have to make an adapter plate but thats not a big deal.

Sc400 ~ 250hp in a 3500lb car.

damn straight.. 250hp and 270 ftlb of torque, and thats stock engine. I am going to have to make custom headers and bigger exhaust and a custom intake manifold with a q45 throttle body so it should be more... the cool thing is that the engine is very cheap, i found a couple engine complete with harness and ecu for less than 600.

Re: 510 project in san diego
Well its almost swap time, i'm just waiting on my tax return hopefully i'l get it this Friday. There is a local guy here that wants to buy my current engine complete the only problem is i don't know how much it's worth. When i got the car it hat like 5k on the rebuild and since i put like another 8 or 10k. it has a weber 32/38 carburetor and headmen header. 5 spd transmission, Does anybody here know a fair value of the swap so i don't undersell it.. thanks a lot guys.
