I’m very close to installing a BRE air dam on my project 71 510. What’s the best way to go about doing this?

Thanks it took a lot of time to get it done. I just put the new engine in last Saturday the 5th. It cost around $1000 for all the bodywork and paint together. But it would have been a lot less if the first guy I had start it would have finished it.

what tool did you use, to strip it down to the metal like that?
did you remove the windshield and gaskets to paint it? or did you leave it on.

hey rv, i just used 2 bolts on the far end of the air dam. and then i used a couple more right before the holes for the brakes. the fitiment will never be "perfect" but with a little time you'lll get it right. most likely you will never be able to mount the middle of the spoiler though.

The paint is just a color I picked from a sample slab. I got it at a local paint store here is Phoenix. I have the recipe for the color if you want it onslot.

I just used a die grinder with a scratch rite sanding disks. It worked very well.

Thanks Lou, the temperature has been staying blow 90 every day now so it’s perfect weather to get out and get some work done.
