Re: 205/55R15 on stock 510?
EDIT, he emailed back. They are 46mm (1.8in) offset, came off of a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Oz Rally.
Does that help?

Like ET46? They're not going to fit a 510. You're looking at something between 0 and +21, depending on size and width.
Search for the Kurt Hafer Wheel FAQ. All the info on 510-specific fitments.

Oh Crap.....don't tell me that. I can only assume that adding the spacers I'd need to make it work would be "a few too many"?
What about upgrading to newer rear axles? Would that make for need of more offset? Any excuse I need to upgrade a few parts is ok!

Re: 205/55R15 on stock 510?
You'd want to do the math and get one correct spacer. Any more than one spacer is bad Ju-Ju. I wouldn't personally recommend a spacer thickness that you'd need to fit those rims to a 510. Lots of better rims that fit.
It's not just about the rear. The front will have issues of its own, and ET46 ain't close to fitting up there, either. And it gets worse if/when you swap to 280ZX brakes, since that takes the track IN ~3/4" PER SIDE.
Unless suspension changes aren't in your future (be it different brakes or different heights), I'd run what you have until you figure out what you want. Depending where the two lie, you may not be able to get there from here without redoing lots of stuff.

Yeah....maybe I should have asked these questions BEFORE I bought the rims...oh well, I may be able to get my $100 back out of them. I do not plan on upgrading brakes, I just rebuilt the disk brakes that were there.
Re: 205/55R15 on stock 510?
Well, if you're going with an SR swap in the future, you will be upgrading the brakes...

Re: Optimal Offset for 15x6.. w/ stock fenders
I have found up to 2" spacers, but think I'll be within 1.5" for what I need.
Re: Optimal Offset for 15x6--Ah, NEVERMIND
Would really not recommend leveraging the wheel out that far, especially on the small 510 wheel bearings.

Re: Optimal Offset for 15x6--Ah, NEVERMIND
Using a 25 to 30mm thick spacer will get you in the right ballpark. You'll need to tear everything apart to install some long studs. There was a discussion long ago which ARP ones that will fit right, and have the correct thread.
Adding a spacer doesn't add any extra leverage to a wheel which this much offset, as the wheel is still in the "stock" place.
Be sure to post a picture when you get the wheels on!

Re: Optimal Offset for 15x6--Ah, NEVERMIND
I am actually going with adapters, instead of really long spacers. After a little bit "mock" fitting last night, I realized that inner rub on the front looks to be my only concern..
No turning back at this point. I'll post some pics as soon as the tires arrive and are put on rims/car!

Stock suspension, no adjustments
OZ Racing Rims, 15x6 -14mm offset.
Nitto NT450 205/55R15
Need to roll the rear lips inside, and slightly dent in the backside of front fenders (about where your left foot would rest) When turning hard left, the back-outside of left tire rubs. Same with right tire when turning right.

Re: 15x6 14mm Offset, PICS
get some ROTA RBs in the correct offset and call it good. They are not that expensive
Slam car down.
Depending on strut stock +25MM OR 280ZX STRUTS+15 WILL FIT no need to rool fender or rub
Dont let a good car go bad with bad or wrong offset wheels just cause they were cheap$$$$$$
Will be cheap in the end to buy the correct size wheels
+25mm stock struts with T3 coil over set up with High perch and 7inch springs

Re: 15x6 14mm Offset, PICS
Nothing wrong with the wheels, they's pretty close, just the tires a a bit tall. You need to stay at or under 23", I and others run a 205/50-15 on a 7' wide rim, you may want to try 195's.
