I believe Specialty Engineering still sells high rate rear spring that "bolt-in" to the stock location.

Some have used 3"ID off road coilover springs. They have taken an 18" spring, cut it in half to make (2) 9" springs that have one flat end and one with a pig tail for the control arm bucket.

If you cut an 18" - 550# spring in half, you get (2) 9" 1100# springs.

As for adjusting ride height, I've used varied thicknesses of plywood spacers on the chassis end to get the correct ride height and then replaced them with the same thickness steel rings once ride height was where I wanted it. We used steel because we had stock laying around, aluminum would work just as well.

Its a cheap way out, but it works.

thanks for that info Dave, Fred can post a pic of your dime with the 9" springs. So I went with 8" at 250lbs for the front and 6" at 800 and 8" at 800lbs they are all 2.5" ID springs I got from Eibach since they are close to me. I'm planning on getting some shock inserts for the front that are adjustable (compression and rebound) also the rear I want to get adjustable ones, but not sure what to get? any suggestions? my fronts are DIY 510 coil overs measuring at 15" from inside the tube, the rear I'm not sure where to source one? i've heard people using camaro's but not sure what year? is there a different option? by the way Dave your panels are f'n awesome keep it up bro!

KYB 743019 AGX for the 82-02 Camaro is adjustable and works.

By the looks of it, the T3 coilovers are also built around this shock absorber.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
