Another fun day. Coming home from a car show sitting at a set of lights waiting for the signal some dumb bitch rolls into the back of the Bean. Good thing she admitted to her insurance company that she hit me and her insurance will cover it.
She gets out of her truck with a cigarette in her hand and from 8 feet away says looks fine no damage??? Told her to take a close look at the fucking dent that is there now!

Wow, quite the attitude but then it's not uncommon around here.

Makes me wonder how her insurance co will handle your car. At least "you" are in charge.

Terrible news, Terry. You have such good bodywork skills I imagine you could tackle it yourself. Or will you actually entrust this job to somebody else?

Dammit!!! Like when I finished my 4 year restore and 6 months later a lady backs into the 510 denting in the rear panel only. She said about the same thing "Oh that's not that bad" so I said to her well, ok I'll just kick a $1000 dent into your brand new Altima and we'll call it even ok? I walk over to the side of her door she's cries out "Oh no let's do the insurance thing. I wanted to kick her some brain matter. The dent was $650 so I took the money and ran. Din't fix the dent just pushed it out and straightened it up. Was in fear of fixing it then getting slammed hard but some Masshole driver.

I got the settlement from the insurance company and have fixed the tail gate. Took me 1 hour to knock out the dent. Haven't done the small area at the corner of the tail light. Dug up a spare license plate light and installed it. Will wait to do that one and the bumper still has 3 tiny dents but not noticeable unless you look hard.
