Pre-Spring Thaw Shakedown drive - April 10th North Vancouver

Post by Byron510 »

Just in case some of you want to get out and stretch your legs in a couple of weeks time....

Always interesting cars show up with this group. And our Datsuns are always well received.

I'm not on FACEBOOK.

Link does not work for me.

Our spring tune up drive will be hopefully to FORT CASEY again. Stay tuned.

Don't worry Keith, the link doesn't seem to work.

Not sure why the link works for me...

Anyways, here is a screen shot of the page for those who want to take in an event. What's cool about this group is that you have from the models shown in this photo to late model cruisers, imports from both sides of the pond and old street machines and vintage rally cars. I've never seen a gathering like this group anywhere else.

Yah, I might also, only two weeks away and I do not have that much left to do on my car, at least for a shake down cruise. Going to work on my drivers door seal next week and then see if I can get my son to help me bleed the brakes.

Yup, I'm going. I am firing the car tomorrow morning and checking tire pressure.

With my fuel gauge test today the car is all gassed up too.

it will be a perfect driving temp.

Our Pemberton drive last year....

Who of our Datsun group might be going? I got my fuel gauge hooked up today and will fire the car at noon today.

280Z is raring to go. Already made my shake down run out to Krause Berry Farms for their yummy Belgium Waffles ( Blueberry and Apple )

Just heading out now to West Coast Nissan to visit Glen and support his retirement fund some more.. LOL

Good, is Dean coming? I will plan to be at the Starbucks by 8:00 AM., likely leave here at about 7:25, Knight street is pretty quiet then.

My car is still in peices at Specialty so I won't be making it for this one.

I'd be all over this but I'm in Victoria this weekend.

This is good, I have made copies of Idoxlr8 licence plates, which I will afix to Norms car, which is not in that many pieces, for the Sunday run. This way I can burn up Norms tires, and Dean will get to re-live the drive when the speeding ticket comes.
