Multi-State Datsun Classic
"Your father's Datsun. This is the weapon of a Datto Head. Not as clumsy or random as a Mustang. A more elegant weapon for a more civilized age." -- Obi Juan Figueroa

Re: Multi-State Datsun Classic
you are looking at blue cool Jap tin.
An Idea doesn't work unless you do.
Re: Multi-State Datsun Classic
Agreed, the tin work looks very similar to a 510, with 610 coupe hues...but what is it?Mattndew76 wrote:you are looking at blue cool Jap tin.
I have seen photos of an 1800 sedan - was this a couple versionof that car, and not to be confued with an 1800 Bluebird Coupe.

Re: Multi-State Datsun Classic
Here's the 610 and 710 coupe I've seen - not even close to what's above.
It's definately Datsun, but I don't know what it is.

Re: Multi-State Datsun Classic
OK - I just stumbled on it - it's a C30 Nissan Laurel, but a 2000GX version, otherwise it would have had different trim.
Interestingly, there is a sedan version of this car seen here in Vancouver, but simply badged as a Datsun 1800. I've never personally seen the car, but I've been told of its existence, and that it's been here since the early 80's.
Interesting, and pretty cool.
