Matt took a group picture, so if everyone is ok, I will post up with NAMES, for the record.

I'm all in the clear, no one is looking for me that I'm aware

Post photos away.

Bert, thanks for the planning. I feel bad that you were the one out front, that's why I took the lead for a while afterwards.

What wasn't in the write up is that I pulled a bit last minute exit into a lookout of (Early Winters Spires) mountain at the summit (5500 feet). On google maps the road is simply labeled as NF-500. I’d pulled off because of some really cool formations of the mountain peaks that were dead ahead of us east bound. I was horribly disappointed that as I drove into the lookout parking lot, there were only trees, and I couldn't get a view of the mountain formations to the east. I had stopped, with James and Malcolm, at the far end of the lot. But for some reason, the rest of the guys were not joining us, so after 5 minutes, I drove over to them; everyone had their cameras out and they were looking to the south. So I go out and to my holly surprise - a huge chunk of rock which was more than simply beautiful was towing over us. Because of our proximity to its base, I simple could not see it in the narrow canyon inside the 510. When we got out to take photos, most of us with regular cameras just couldn't get it all into view. And the kicker - that wasn't even the mountain I was originally looking at! So I apologize for the rather abrupt and sudden exit from the hwy for this excursion, but I think we all agree that it was worth the stop.

Bert - thanks again - another great drive that was thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my brother riding shot gun.

Most excellent pictures, I think the best of any of our runs for sure. We could do a calender just with all of these.

Byron, you just kept us on our toes, although it did point out cold brakes are interesting........

I will post up some stats later, when I look at my GPS this morning.

My GPS stats were 7.75 hours moving time, covering 640kms. My moving average was 82 kms/h which indicates we were trucking along pretty well on average. I didn't measure mileage, I didn't print a receipt at Winthrop so I lost the record there. But as you and Jordan pointed out, my car was running pretty rich in many spots, including cruise which is where we were at 98% of the time.

I'd also like to thank Niel for meeting us for lunch. We had some great discussion on and off of the automotive realm. It's always great to catch up to other 510 guys. Drives like this with a meeting in the middle are absolutely enjoyable.
