2013 Vancouver All Nissan Meet, August 10th and 11th

I'm proud to announce that the Vancouver All Nissan Meet at the same locations as the previous two years. The City of North Vancouver has moved some dates around for us and made the weekend of August 10 and 11th possible.

Saturday August 10th - Auto-X at the Scott Rd Sky Train South Lot, Surrey

Sunday August 11th - All Nissan Meet Car Show, Ship Builders Square, North Vancouver

The two sites are about 30 minutes apart. For those planning to attend from out of town, Vancouver offers a wide range of accommodation, if you'd like to make a weekend out of it. If you've not been to Vancouver before, there is much to offer from a dip in the Pacific Ocean to beautiful hikes up the coastal mountains - all within the Greater Vancouver Area. Public transit is excellent at both event sites.

More details will follow, BCMA will co-host the Auto X as they've always been so accommodating. Translink needs a big thank you for the continued support and use of their lot in Surrey. And thanks to the City of North Vancouver for the use of the Ship Builders Square as it gives us a unique place to display our cars right on the Burrard Inlet with a wonderful view of the Vancouver skyline on one side and right behind us a view from the base of the coastal mountains.

Just an update for the show this weekend to be held on the 10th and 11th of August at the same venues as the previous years.

Auto-X => Saturday at the Scott Rd Skytrain parking lot 12515 110 Ave, Surrey.

Car Show =>Ship Builders Square in North Vancouver, one block east of the Lonsdale Quay.

We'll follow pretty much the same format as we have for the last few years, I look forward to seeing you all again this year. Both days are always a blast. Last year we had a whole bunch of new comers to both events and I hope to see that again this year.

Richard once again has volunteered to make the trophies - and as you have seen in the past, he's a pretty talented guy and comes up with some cool stuff.

Classes for the Auto X - Saturday August 10th, Scott Rd Skytrain South Lot, Surrey

Under 2.3L Displacement:
Stock (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
Modified (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
Over 2.3L Displacement
Stock (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
Modified (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
FTD - Fastest Time of the Day

There will be a drivers meeting which is mandatory for all participants at 10am sharp. Tech will close at 9:45. Like last year, I bumped the times later this year for those who need your beauty sleep
We do recommend you be at the lot by 8:30, then there is no rush, you can unload your car of all the usual stuff that isn't tied down, and be relaxed, register, take a walk of the course and familiarize yourself with the event. It works well this way.


Car Show classes for Sunday August 11th - Ship Builders Square, North Vancouver BC;

Registration will open at 9am, and will close by noon.

A- Classic Sedan & Wagon ('68-'84)
B- Classic Sports Coupe ('70-'83)
C - Modern Sedan & Wagon ('84 up)
D - Modern Sports Coupe ('84 up)
E - Vintage (any model not in production after '70)
F - Truck/SUV ('70 up)

The entrance to the Ship Builders Square is off of St. Georges Ave, we'll be sure to have some signs up again this year. The Registration Table will be on the west side of the site as it was last year.

Not just yet Chris, redoing suspension, refurbishing brakes and cooling system and changing to manual transmission first. Air care, then door seals, window felt and scrapers, new carpet .... Lots of work to do. Not really up to long treks right now ...

Well i would love to come up with arts car, but you guys know yoru doing it on the same day as the Blue Lake show, weve been doing it the 2nd sunday of August for years now, its going to kill cars coming to both our shows, people from pdx area wont come up, and people form north wa / canada wont come down

Hi all,

We're absolutely a go, prices and times will be identical to last year.

It's hard to believe we are only 4 weeks away from the event. We'll switch up the auto X course a bit just to spice things up. The timers vote sent out last week for a tune up, we had problems with them in the spring.

The show will also see us utilize the area a bit differently, you'll like it.

I look forward to the event and seeing as many of you there as we can get.

I'll update the first post over the weekend to reflect times and costs, but they will all reflect last year as it worked out pretty well.
