Thanks for the update guys - all of you. I finally got to read this post during a layove at Dallas-Fort Worth. Gone again for work, second week away this month. I really with I could have joined you guys, looked like a great day. It’s great reminiscing over the photos.
The last time I drove the Old Hedley Rd, it was gravel from just beyond the Saw Mill. I think the mill is long gone, I believe it’s a wood pellet plant these days. I raced a friend from Chevron at Princeton to Pickard Creek where the two hwys join again - both in our rally cars. He beat me, but not by much. And I know I had way more fun in my 510 Rally car - tearing up my rear timers I’m sure! Man, that was a lifetime ago! it’d would have been fun to drive that road paved.

I’m sure we’ll do it again, maybe soon if there’s fresh asphalt!

Anyways, thanks for the photos. I wasn’t devoid of 510 action this year, I just haven’t had time to write much. And getting photos on the site off the phone when I do have down time is an issue I haven’t solved.
I’ll get on it. Thanks for the write up.

I use an app called photo resizer. On an android. Still a hassle. I admit I don't post nearly as much as I could due to the photo size issue. All I have is my phone.

I used to use the same. With the newer versions of android you can resize them in in Standard gallery app that comes with the phone. Much simpler.

I wasn't able to download fotos off my Samsung S6 to this site for a while. Then I found a remedy. I post all pix on to my Facebook and then from there I save it back to my phone. Tht compresses the foto size. Those saved fotos I then use it to download onto this site with no issue. Try it.

Well, we sure made a good call for that Sunday drive, instant winter up there now.

5 Cm again predicted for tonight. Be salt and sand soon too and of course the whole snow tire
requirement issue.

Another post on here, last one, promise. The "instant" winter I find quite amazing this fall, I have been hit with 2 strong windstorms already in White Rock, so many crashes in the mountains with the snow, bad, drivers and ill equipped. I have at least 2 days of raking in my yard to clean up all the cedar ends form my trees.

Funny to think just 3 weekends ago we were zipping through this section of highway with our SUMMER tires on.
