Momo Prototipo steering wheel, used.

Starting to go through the Bert Vorgon Archives to weed STUFF out.

I have this Momo 14" steering wheel, NO HUB that I would like to move on.

The seam has parted, as you can see, BUT, it is NOT loose in any way. It is still well glued to the foam underneath it. The leather itself is a bit "checked" from wear, mostly from the abrasion when wearing my racing gloves and again, it is NOT feathering off anywhere.

The seams at the spokes are tight and not loose at all.

It is also still TIGHT to the steel ring under the foam, so does NOT rotate at all. I also just found in the box the upper finishing ring and Momo horn button, plus screws.

Basically I think the leather has just shrunk over time. The actual stitching has NOT come undone anywhere.

hmm i wonder how hard it will be to have an upholsterer recover it.. i think almost every datsun ive owned has ended up with some momo--
