And us 510 guys!

Going to get the 510 on jack stands tomorrow to get the car off the tires for the rest of the winter. Almost finished my glove box project .

pm me or Norm for pricing- the 235 45 13 is available but ONLY if i know within a week and then they "should" be able to get on the container for april 19.. i wont know that tires price till monday most likely-
the sizes and qty listed on the pic norm posted is correct as to whats coming- im going to reserve some of the 205.15s for my guys - i dont want to miss out .

update-- minimum order for 235s is 20 pieces- as its a non stocking size

the 205 50 15 used to come in 2 tread ratings - all the prices posted are the 100 Treadwear- which is the 89w model-
there was a 80 treadwear 86w model - appears discontinued as there is no stock coming in that model- this was confirmed today.

there is also a NS2 tire thats slightly harder and cheaper if anyone wants those

for the 235 45 13's there is a Minimum order of 20 pieces to add to the container- so i dont have an exact date for the cutoff to add -

that goes for any size not listed as already coming MOQ of 20 pieces- i want some 245-40-17s and not on stock order..

I was just doing some interneting and I came across this test someone just did with the R888R, the Maxxis RC1 and the Nankang AR1. He has some interesting things to say about them.

Interesting Norm, that these guys backed up with some data what you butt sensor told you a couple years ago regarding how the Nankangs worked on your car in particular.

I’d really like to order a set of these in 13” for my libres and try them out.

Interesting comments, the most salient point to me, two things...he found the tires very predictable and, the cornering grip was very good.

That is what for me would be the same as my love of the 048's, which Norm has substantiated also. Our 510's to be driven fast need to feel predictable, especially on toss in to a corner at the limit. (not that any car does not). We also are talking public roads too, with cool temps most of our trips, other than the height of summer.

I would not hesitate to go with these tires.

As he said they are confidence inspiring. Even if a tire does not have the highest level of grip if it inspires confidence and is predictable then you will be able to go faster.

the non standard sizes like 235 50 13 can be added if i commit to 12 tires bought now--
one person was interested in a set but no one else was "ready" yet.
so need 3 sets to make that or any other size not stocked to be brought in--
also the first container is already showing as in May now not April 19.

Not sure if I'm too late, or if available, but I'm looking for 185/60R14 if possible.

I had a set of those. They don't bring them to north America. I had to order them from Japan. they are hands down the fastest tire I have ever had.

I would, but as Norm said, they are not available in North America, which I find kind of weird. Oh, well, I'm good for a few more seasons on my 048's.
