Toying with the idea of swapping out my long rod for another engine and seeing what kind of interest there is out there for it, with me being on the East Coast of Canada selling the entire engine isn't really an option with shipping costs but parting it out is much more reasonable. Re: 2.1 Long Rod Part Out
Good timing! I'm on the east coast and in the process of building the same engine, so I'm interested in many of the items.
Specifically the rods, headers, starter and potentially the head/cam.
Is there much corrosion on the headers?
Out of curiosity, why are you contemplating the change?
Cheers,
Angus

There's someone interested in the header and head but if they don't follow through by this coming weekend (19th) i'll let you know. Everything else you mentioned is still available, no corrosion at all on the header took the rap off and it's still mint underneath, would just need a coat of high temp paint or ceramic coating if you weren't going to wrap it again.anguso wrote:Good timing! Just want to go with something more modern with some more drivability, the long rod is an amazing engine but with the big cam and high compression it's not the happiest street engine lol.
