Comp Mikuni PHH44 setup

Post by Eric P »

My wife said I need to recoup some cash from the engine rebuild I just paid for and "...stop hoarding parts". She is correct on both points. I've found I have gathered parts from racer friends as they retired or needed money out of fear I would need those parts. I don't really need them as much as I need $$. So, here goes one of the first thing that needs to go:

Dual Mikuni PHH44 carbs with air horns and insulators on a Nissan Comp intake. I bought this setup in case I ran into a problem with my carbs and needed to somewhat quickly swap it out. Some notes:

The carbs are "race prepped" by Todd Walrich, meaning certain parts are massaged such as the shafts in the throttle body to be more streamlined.
The carbs came from a running engine that lost oil pressure and spun a rod so they were working. The whole setup needs cleaned and assembled properly (the cabs and insulators are loosely bolted together. It will need matched to whatever throttle setup you want to use.

It's called "investing." Damn sight better returns than my 401k!
