WTB: MAF for sr20det

Post by mell00510 »

As title states lookin for mass airflow meter for the sr. It seems to be a picky one and requires p/n 22680-69F00 (93-95 s-14) I have tried both S-13 mafs 22680-40F00 and the 52F00 both read to high of voltage (via consult) at idle and richens the fuel into low 11's (wideband) and sputters rich. I have a z32 maf (N62/22680-30P00) and thought about trying that to see if voltage is better (assuming it will read low). I know the correct answer get correct maf or get tune. Sooooo- who's got one?!? And would rather use $$$ toward tune then safc or other widget THX

Alternatively, I can provide you with a complete HKS VPC system for the SR20DET that eliminates the MAF sensor and replaces it with a pressure sensor. More reliable, less clunky, and allows for fine tuning.

Word of caution: DO NOT go about randomly plugging in other Nissan/Subaru MAFs simply because the plug connection is physically the same. I've known many people who fried ECUs by doing this as not all the pinouts are the same thing between those meters.
