WOW...YEH....HURRAY..HOLY COW....YIPPEEEEEEEE...ZOUNDS BATMAN....

The decals arrived this morning...3 weeks after postage date from Ben Lamond, Ca.

I guess with all the flowers and stuff blooming early, between here and California,
the pony express must have stopped to smell the roses!!!!

They look REALLY GOOD Joel, can hardly wait to put them on the 510, brush my grey hair, and go for a drive.

Excellent Keith! That is good news, let Jason know I should see new ones any day now.

Here's another good one. I sent a package FEDEX to Seattle on Monday...it goes to Memphis....then back to Seattle...and so far...my customer has not received it! What happened to overnight service? I could have hiked to Seattle by now.

Now that there are so many out there, let's see some pictures of where you stuck 'em.

Keith, for work I did a rush job for a power plant customer here locally a few weeks ago - it became necessary to send the turbocharger to Tacoma for further repairs. It was arranged to be sent to Tacoma through FedEx, they picked it up from the site, and guaranteed delivery the next morning in Tacoma – 176 miles away, or a 3 hour drive. The part never gets to my shop in Tacoma the next morning. I track it to find it in Memphis Tenn, some 2423 miles away!!! Apparently because it may have been “damaged” in shipping. What the hell was Fed Ex going to do with it? Fix a bloody massive turbo? After some yelling and customer care abuse, it got to Tacoma in the late evening the following day (3 days later). Now keep in mind I could have driven the part there in 3 ½ hours! Oh and the best part – no damage to the comment. Apparently all deliveries are routed through the FedEx Tenn warehouse and redistributed….

Needless to say, I won’t be using FedEx for international shipping in the future. That system is just crazy, and of course the “customer care” types who state that miracles can happen which are obviously unobtainable. Customer Service => Customer Deception. Not so good for business. And this discussion likely out of place here… sorry all.

Ok, so yesterday, I did my first real drive of the year, to get my car appraised. The fellow who did the appraisal lives in a place called Belcara, which is a very small little village outside of Vancouver, at the beginning of Indian Arm, an absolutely stunning place. I took a couple of pictures before I drove up to his house.

Thanks Joel, looks great on the car!
