FS: R160 LSD Rear Differential from a GC8 Impreza WRX STI

It's VLSD. 4.11 Gear Ratio. You'll need c-clip grooves machined into your 510 stub axles to make them work. Other than that it should bolt in.

You're going to need the correct VLSD stubs for the VLSD to work.

Ditto what Julian said.
Also, the 510 does not have "male stubs" for a diff like that. It has female threaded flanged adapters.
Basically, you need to get a diff that has "outies" not "innies".

To the original poster, you might have better luck selling it on RS25 or Nasioc, or some other subaru boards.

What? The 510 has male stubs with a hole all the way down the shaft for the bolt that screws into the center section, on the left in this picture:

That's an older style subaru male-male stub shaft on the right.

whoops, thanks for the correction. Been a long time since I swapped a subie diff.

Regardless, this diff is not compatible with 510 stubs, right?

www.betamotorsports.com has stubs that make this rearend work in a 510. this is what i am using
