we then installed doors and used masking paper to "train" the seals (thanks rms)

installed door handles (painted black for now, but if it doesn't hold up we will find a better option like vinyl wrap or powder coat.) and decided to go with the solex locks because they are black, new, and add a nice 1980's touch to the build.

then glued rest of seal inlace with 3m seal adhesive and taped in place. even found enough plastic clips to hold seal inlace on bottom of doors.

installed the oem seals we purchased from a member here a while back. using a glass seal tool to help install in track.

laid them out and assembled new inner track felt (purchased from datsport a while ago). regulators, glass, latches, handles.

does anyone know if there is a glove box liner insert available for the Canadian 68 dash?
ours was not usable. i have the cardboard liner for a early 60's gmc truck that i can modify to work if needed.

well it took a national pandemic to slow down my sons social and work life so he would come over and finish his 510 :P its been stored in garage for about 4 years since he stopped working on it but he came over this week and dug it out. it took him a while to remember were we left off. but we jumped...

thanks guys. thats what i was planning to do. i was just hoping that as this use to be a common swap, someone might of found the perfect hose and recorded the part#. can't blame a guy for trying
