Hi Hudson, I think this functionality might already exist. On the bottom of the main (index) page, there is a "Mark forums read" link. Click that and it should do what you're looking for!

I haven't forgotten about this but due to some other problem it isn't as easy as it should be...

Brad helped by posting a couple intro posts and it seems to be working fine. I believe when you signed up was exactly when we were having some trouble with the database. Might have just been bad timing!
