Re: OCTOBERFAST 2018
What a great day! Fantastic choice of roads Keith. New pavement and virtually no traffic makes for good times. The drive back on the Duffy was great actually. Light traffic and road was in really good shape. Paul broke a rocker just as we started up the hill to the lookout and I thought for sure he ...

Re: OCTOBERFAST 2018
I’d be into that.
Keep in mind this will probably be an older demographic so we will have to schedule nap breaks in the early afternoon. I like to eat dinner at 4:30 as well.

Re: 2018 Summer Drive
I had a set of 4.11s for you. Maybe we can just tie us all together. 600hp between 3 cars should be good. You two should watch the smack talk. I make up for my poor driving skills and lack of horsepower with giddy enthusiasm, shiny parts and a functioning heater and sound system. By the way, my cal...

Re: 2018 Summer Drive
I was hoping you would show up! Have you changed your gears? If not...you will be in front and we will push you.... With Norm and I behind you, there will be 520 HP on your bumper, maybe reinforce the mounts. Still the same Bonneville Salt Flats 3.36’s. I’m not changing them until you sell me the 5...

Re: Modified Collector Insurance
Got modified collector plates late last year. You need to have another insured vehicle to qualify but very easy process otherwise. $325.00 a year for insurance.

Re: SOLD - 80s Subaru 3.7 R160 Clutch LSD
I’ve learned things.
1) The 3.36’s in my fake 510 appear to be sub optimal to hang with the crew......but if one of these drives end up at the Bonneville Salt flats I’m going to kick some ass.
2) A dude named Toylet has strong thoughts on the pricing of differentials.
3) Canadians are very polite.

Re: "Hey" my daily driven race car!
After reading all Keith’s notes my take away is that my open 3:36’s could be sub optimal. Indeed. I have a 4.11 that I am going to turn into a 4.6 so there will be a set of gears available sometime soon. Let me know Norm. If I could order a close ratio 5 speed at the same time that would ...

Turbine power generator in that RX7! Yes, I just saw that as well. Very cool. It reminds me of the old Chrysler Patriot project for LeMans. https://jalopnik.com/the-first-hybrid-racecar-was-amazing-and-would-have-kil-1600307873 OK, I have to clear this up. I see an electric motor, and a battery pac...
