Re: Photobucket trying to blackmail me.
You sure it's not a bandwith problem? ... I remember a few years ago they said I had reached my month's worth of free bandwidth, and I would have to pay to have the photos visible again, or wait two weeks edit: the photos in your 710 wagon thread say you've reached %100 of your third party hosting u...

Re: Noob build
No, I don't have any wires from the trans to the ECU ... your MAF sounds like it's working normally

Re: Noob build
You don't have a spare MAF? ... I tried that with mine, before I figured out it was the ECU ... do you have the IACV hose hooked up to the intake? You can also check the 3 wires going to the MAF, to make sure you have 12V, a ground, and a signal wire that moves a fraction of a volt when you lightly ...

Re: Noob build
Try disconnecting the MAF plug ... my KA24DE was dying after 5 seconds, but would run longer with the MAF unplugged (not drivable or running good)
A new used ECU for $40 off ebay fixed it ... I think they call it "limp mode" when the ECU dies. Mine had gotten moisture inside.

Re: Canby 2017?
Yes, the notice is over at the Ratsun site but so is some negative banter. Yeah, sorry. I didn't even want to post a link to that Ratsun thread. The whole site is overrun by stupidity and drama. Don't take any of them seriously. Canby is always a great event. I counted over 300 Datsuns/Nissans in 2...

Re: Canby 2017?
This was just posted on Ratsun, by the president of DNW: http://community.ratsun.net/topic/71095-12th-annual-canby-datsun-show-and-camp-june-91011th/ That's right folks, the 2017 Canby Datsun car show is happening the second weekend in June, 9th, 10th and 11th. Same great show as last year as there ...

Re: Noobie's 510 project
I think I measured the 2dr door at 6" longer than a 4dr front door. But the pillars have a different angle, so the seat belt hole probably isn't exactly 6" further back.

Re: 1971 Datsun 1600 SSS For Sale (not mine)
Does anyone know how that SSS air filter box can fit with a LHD master cylinder? I've never seen one fit without cutting into the air-box.

LOL, yeah ... ... I was gonna say your T/C rod problem is partly cause their T/C rods are too big/bulky compared to Ermish onesicehouse wrote:I'd rather eat shit than buy T3 suspension

Re: camber plate questions
I've talked to T3 at a few swapmeets, and they said there's no easy way to run stock springs and camber plates... I don't see how it would work. You're going to need coilovers or adjustable LCA's

Re: WTB 200SX Steelies....15x6
The S12 200sx (I think) or one model older, had a 15x6 steelie .. I think the offset is around +33 or +35, so you'll need spacers on a 510

Re: 68 CDN going to be all like JDM yo!
I agree with Byron and mounting all the other panels first ... the front doors can move quite a bit (at both hinge mounting points). I think the normal gap between panels is 1/4" or so.
