This is great discussion.
I think there's some Datsun in there. The grille might be 510, but check out this sillouette:

Re: Nissan IDx 10 concept is the new 510/Bluebird Coupe
Short of the GTR, I've been disappointed with everything Nissan's shipped to the States in the passed three decades. Watching the video piece they produced here, it's plain to see now out of touch Nissan is with the young auto market. Why are they looking to gamers of all people? Dose Nissan actual...

Re: Nissan IDx 10 concept is the new 510/Bluebird Coupe
I actually kind of dig the looks, but I do also see how it could be very polarizing. I'm just really happy Nissan is acknowledging this car's importance to their heritage. I really had my finger's crossed for a retro 510, but had pretty much resigned myself to a Sylvia revival. The 510 revival blew ...

Oooooh Julian. That loouvered rear section and the recessed dash is a seriously classy touch on that green one two_68s posted. Inspiration?

Re: ASH starts machining
I've been wondering why no one has thought of running the camber plate at 45 degree angle. Starting at a baseline of stock location moving inwards towards the firewall at a 45 degree angle. Giving you camber and caster at the same time.... Thats where most people want to be anyway.... It will then ...

Good old fashion risk taking 1936 Fairbanks Morse Model 32D controlling RPM through ignition cut off to individual cylinders. Chugging along you can see smoke rings being blown out the exhaust. Definitely not clean diesis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_0xifuTqVA This video is great. This original...

Off topic: Saw Troy's cars at the Vintage Racing National Championships at Circuit of the Americas in Austin a couple weeks ago. He brought three 510s, and I think one or more of his customers were there as well. VERY nice 510s. The green one was my favorite. http://i.imgur.com/WRG6DpF.jpg http://i....

Glad you're starting work on this! And that rear subframe really shows in the last couple pictures, since those Z wheels should tuck under stock bodywork. Any progress on getting that sorted? i got my hands on a stock 510 subframe and going from there haha What's the story with the rear subframe?

I think FutoFab has fiberglass versions. He might have a steel version coming too...I can't recall.

Very nice Julian. Congrats.
I'm trying to remember, are the QA1 dampers you selected for the front adjustable (damping, not height)?

This is the common solution, although I've never had to use them. Someone recently posted that they kept on snapping these things. Hopefully someone can chime in with a suggested brand. I just pulled those from a google search.
