Re: 2.3L of fun
Well I ordered the fuel cell today. It fits in the stock location and I can even put my parcel self back in. 47L with minimal fabrication needed to mount it.

Re: 2.3L of fun
On a side note I got to run on the new tires. They have the same grip as the A048 with way better road manners

Re: 2.3L of fun
Thanks Ron,
I am pricing out a custom fuel cell that will fit in the stock location and is about the same volume. If that proves to be too expensive I may take you up on that.

Re: 2.3L of fun
Well my father's day ended with a $300 tow and $130 of fuel on the ground. I got to pulling the tank today and this is what I found.
Looks like it just randomly developed 2 holes in it. Might be time to put something new in.- 19 Jun 2022 17:17

Re: happy father's day
Happy Father's day people. I decided to head out for a nice Father's day drive and try out the new tires. Now I'm sitting at a gas station waiting for a tow truck. My car started leaking fuel from the drain plug area on the tank. I'm not sure if it is a crack in the tank or a split around the bung b...

Most people I know do not run a rear sway bar. There are a few types out there from what I understand. DP Racing has one so you could check with Don to see if he has the bracket.

Re: 2.3L of fun
They are Keith. Off the rim they measure 23" Rock hard sidewall that passes the sit test. My 200lb sitting on the tire standing up and it only deflects about 3"bertvorgon wrote: ↑09 Jun 2022 09:36 Hey Norm,
Are they the same...23" tall or so?
Specs look so very close to the 048's width of 8.5 compared to 8.3

I stuck it beside one or my Nankang AR1s and they are within a couple of mill of each other so hopefully they fit.

Re: 1 inch brake master cylinder installation question
The size of the master does not improve the braking unless you have some huge calipers and need to move more fluid. I have the 7/8 with wilwood 4 pistons on all 4 corners and it is just about perfect in my opinion.

I'm planning on coming. It has been 2 years almost since I have seen anyone. Hopefully the weather will be nice enough to drive the car. Keith I will take that window shade.
