Re: My '72 SR20 project
You can buy a standard relay plug/pigtail at places like CarQuest. They bundle the 4 or 5 wires that go to each relay and keep them from separating. You use standard, unshielded terminals that lock into the square plug. Then it's like a factory harness. it could prevent a major headache.

Re: 1 Wire Alternator Swap

Re: ignition switch question
The whole thing comes apart pretty easily. So go ahead and take it apart. You'll learn how simple the design is.

Re: 1 Wire Alternator Swap
Your setup will work fine. Just make sure the charge wire (the 1 wire to alternator) is properly sized (depends on the output 10 or 8 gauge).

Re: Rack And Pinion exploration
No one gives up on the idea but the dedicated ones come up with individual solutions that don't apply across to all cars. It would seem the early MR2 manual rack with Cressida tie rods is the closest production rack to fit. It is a tad off on size. On a car with otherwise stock suspension, it would ...

Re: 510 Build for 10k. Input appreciated
If you have some limitations, and your budget is $10k, I strongly suggest you buy a car with the KA swap already done. I've seen them for a low of $5K (of course nicer cars can go for more). Then you could take the balance and fix/update what you need. If you were very handy/experienced $10K would b...

Re: dash lights replacement
For anyone in the future doing a search, that number does come up as half-twist sockets (for 5/8" hole). Can't verify the application but here is a link with nice pics. https://www.dmauto.com/web/dmauto/Catalog/NAPA_ECAT/mfg/ECH/LS6501/ Also found LS6500 as same but for 1/2" hole. http://w...

I am interested in the dash AC unit. Don't need anything under the hood. Is it in decent shape and would you be willing to box and ship it?

You certainly can have bolts made. Any good machinist can do it. The issue is the proper hardening and that's where the money adds up.There is no way to have a bolt MADE.. i would need like a stepped bolt..

Re: Wheel clearance for my Wilwoods HELP
Looks like 12mm = /- with washers. Is it cool to run a dime with the front tires sticking out past the fender? I test fit a +40 15x7 that will be flush with the fender and clear the cailper. A whole set would cost me 300 using my tires. I know, more than spacers and studs but less hassle. I should ...
