Re: Corey's 510 dream.

I had finally got my dime running this week after two years of restoring body, electrical and interior. Seamed to run well enough with a rough tune on my L20B and SU’s, so I went for a little roll around the nabor hood to warm it up and see if all the bells and whistles work. Never broke 15 mph. It ...

Re: Corey's 510 dream.

I got the over flow fixed. Even though the round and square top SU's do not have interchangeable parts, it appears that the float bowls are the same. I replaced one of the bowl top valves with one off my square tops and it works fine now. Any one have a suggestion on a good sync tool?

Very nice build!!! I just read through your whole thread from the start. If your lacking in motivation you should go back see how for you have come  . It has certainly worked for me. Did you install the big glass your self or have the pros do it? We need an update.

Re: Corey's 510 dream.

So the gas (if it over flows) drains out on the ground? I guess that is better than on the exhaust manifold. Any idea what the part# is for that PVC valve? I’m pretty sure the auto parts guy will give me the stink eye if I ask for a Datsun SSS one.

If you could get a road-kill tag around here my red neck friends wouldn't even swerve.

Re: Corey's 510 dream.

Thanks for all the input guys, but I already relocated the battery before I moved. I used that very drawing from “datsun510.com” that defdes linked. Nice easy fix with the right parts. What I do need to know is what to do with the over flow vents on the SU reservoir. And where is the crank case vent...

Re: Corey's 510 dream.

Time for an update. I made some good headway since my last post. Moving brought on a lot of it. It was a pain to take a car that was in various stages of tare down and get it to move under its own power. I only had to get it a few blocks so that was a plus. Any way I ordered a new set of calipers an...
