Re: What did you do on your 510 today?
Took my bus out of winter storage the last week, because i was selling it. So i had to unload my 510 in to the garage. The bus is som something me and my father built 25 year's ago, like a motorhome. Have owned it since 1997. The 510 is a street car that i built 30 years ago. It is not a BRE replica...

Re: Yet Another Headlight Thread
Live and learn, never be sure of anything. Always remember these cars are like individuals, none are the same. Have scanned all my wiring diagrams from the FSM, one page from the parts catalog and take pictures of the 25230-89903 passing light relay. I have looked at old pictures and all my cars hav...

Re: Yet Another Headlight Thread
Well, then i am sure this is your high beam relay. It has nothing to do with the alternator or anything. I don't have my car at home so i could confirm but i am 99% sure.

Re: Yet Another Headlight Thread
From an old memory. On my cars this relay is either the high beam (or passing light relay as it say's in the wiring diagram) or was it the horn relay. You have just worked your horn, so you should know where that is. Is your head light and horn relay on the rear side of the strut tower? The relay in...

Would you like to explain why you think hydraulic is way better than electric? From a little reading here & there over the years, it looks like most people go for electric when converting to power steering. I am just trying to learn and understand.

Be aware that the high beam signal is positive.
Have forgot the details, but learned it the hard way.

Thanks for the educational horn video, i would for sure messed up that nut inside there. Planned for thirty years to open some horns, now i know how to and how they works. I onced makes them horn scream by replace the relay and put bigger wires direct from the alternator.

What about this crank? How many CW? Datsun 1600 Nut posted this many years ago, said it was L-18 Nissan Motorsport parts.

Re: moar good videos :P
1994 at Anderstorp in Sweden i went to watch an event called oldtimer grand prix, a vintage race. A few Can-Am cars was there. I talked to the McLaren guy's, they said the unequal air horn length was so they should not steal air from each other. Peter Revson. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDcbxGho...

Think i recognize John Knepp in the red jacket. I have an old Electramotive t-shirt like the guy at the right front of the car.
Yeah, reading the comments under the videos is a good bonus most of the times.
