Re: R180 Diff Flanges
So after looking into this more an more, we bought another r180 that was different from the two that we had. We put all the diffs that we have onto the bench, one r160, one r180 an the one that we are looking for parts for, we started comparing them to each other an started measuring the ring gears,...

Re: R180 Diff Flanges

R180 Diff Flanges
So I posted this question yesterday but It was removed, not really sure why, so I will post it again. We have the a r180 Diff with the c-clip flanges, not bolt ones, an are using stock 510 axles. At one of our rallies last year one of the C-clips failed an took out the bearing on the same side. Then...

Re: Tubular rear crossmember
I am talking about the crossmember its self. We bent the one that we have on the car a bit from hitting a big rock. I guess my other thought is that the crossmember that we have has been slotted to gain more adjustment, as well as enlarging the exhaust opening. SO If we would build one from scrach w...

Tubular rear crossmember
So I have been tossing the idea of making a tubular type rear cross-member for our rally 510, an was curious in anyone else has done this or has any pictures of one that has been done. I have searched this site as well as a bit of googeling but no avail. My main reasoning for wanting to do this is t...
