The 510 Realm

I don't have it yet. I will post up how it fits into the console when I get it. It also is mounted on left side of the console in the Evo X, as opposed to the right side on the Evo 8/9 as I mentioned. This may affect mounting and fit opportunities.

Also ordered T3s micro big brake kit for the rear with e-brake function. Gonna use a Evo 8 handbrake that matches my center console. I agree those halfshafts appear to be the Z versions that had the stub shaft as one with the inner U joint coupling.

Definitely not AMC. Height to length ratio is not correct. Saw a lot of those growing up in SE Wisconsin where AMC factory was. My 7th grade teacher had a Levi's Gremlin no less!

How do you measure the breakaway torque? Basically lock one side from turning by holding the stub shaft, then apply torque to the other side until you get movement? I see the one photo of the ratchet adapter on the stub shaft. Any other pictures of the setup to do this?

Stock fenders, zero offset and 7 or more inches wide you are going to have a real tough time fitting in there. Most that run 7 or greater width on stock fenders have to go at least +20 offset. I think you could get a great paint job for less than $10k if not rusty, and I can't imagine any 510 interior costing more than $5k at an extreme. So to me even $15k would be a huge amount.
