ok Update, the Datsun is in the DMV system and its been on Non op since 1992, there are no back fees, it will cost roughly $100 to register the car. No Vin Verfication needed either.YOu will get to keep the blue plates. It was owned by an older couple in the bay area since New they purchased in 1971...

As far as the Registration it is out of the DMV system I called and checked with DMV and it will cost $60 to register the car, Last tagged in 1992. There are no back fees, original blue plates
