Glad to see new life, and new parts on the bench.
I look forward to hearing about that first drive as well. Glad you came around, and are still in the game!
I need to get working on my race car too. Even too busy with other projects.

Re: CACC Race #6, Last of the season.
Thanks, Keith, for the update back in October. I had hoped to catch you at the 510 Christmas party. Wouter's new toy is interesting. Thanks for the photos as always. I was ready to race the 510 this last October weekend of the year; the car was loaded on the trailer, and spares and tools were all pa...

Agreeing with all above, very glad to hear you’re going to keep the car and enjoy it. Looking forward to that “first drive” post

Re: 69 2 Door 13b Turbo
Wow, that’s some major surgery going on there with the floor pan. A good friend had a 2 door with an NA rotary, downdraft Webber and 5 spd. It was a fun car, and with the downdraft, it sounded crazy rowing through the gears. Good memories there. Coming back to your build, are you sure that you want ...

Re: The Great Rolling Dyno engine rebuild
Well Keith, I tuned up the Bronze quite a bit for Driver training in the latter half of 2021. It got maybe 2 hours use this past year, but it shouldn’t take much to get it back into shape. I’m ready for a good driving season - good to have you back!
Lights, maybe?

Re: Fully counterweighted crank?
This is a very interesting discussion. A good friend spent the weekend with me as he was doing a work upgrade course here in the lower mainland this weekend, and it’s funny because we were discussing his one and only Comp crank I have ever put my hands on. This is a 1600 unit, 8CW’s as mentioned. It...

Re: Am I in over my head? '70 2 door from scratch
For engine installation, I have done both but would agree that installing the engine and trans together on the crossmember and then into the car from below is way less stressful! I’ve used both a hoist or I have made a big years ago that bolts into the front bumper mounts. Without a hoist and with t...

It’s likely because you were a new usher and you fist need to be cleared by admin. It’s just a manual step we need to do to stop mass spamming that everyone else don’t need to see.
You’re cleared now and good to go.

Thanks! It's the only panel I've gotten from them but I have no complaints. It arrived quickly, was very securely packaged, it's not flimsy at all and it fit well. The only thing that would make it better is if the primer was a weld-through type. Rush, this is an awesome thread, I so look forward t...

Re: Into the Realm
That’s a pretty cool find. Are you going to try to register the car? Last year I bought a 510 that has been a race car and complete log book since 1982. It’s currently a vintage racer and it’s out this weekend for a 2 day event. Mine happens to be a 69 2dr and has somehow managed to live its life wi...

Re: 510 Day - Byron's place in Maple Ridge
Eh Keith, no worries and I hope that it all turns out ok in the end. Had you made it, you would have enjoyed yourself. We had a lot of the old guard here last night as wee - that was great to see - Rob, Jamie, Maurice, Ralph, James, Richard, Cam, Jon... I could go on. They were asking about you as y...
