Re: BUTTER'S 72 SLIME

Hmm, interesting. External oil feed for the cam, I wonder if the builder used 240Z towers on this head or machined the towers to suit. What’s the oil connection from the tower to the spray bar like? In any case, is the internal cam oiling still functional? It'd be important to know. I can't see the ...

Re: 71 Pumpkin Pie Build Unflared SR20

Agreed – you’ve seen how much the X member twists in action – both in the vertical and horizontal planes? By removing the bottom of the X member, there will be significant stress on the top half. I’d hate to induce rear steering. I too have added a large pipe for a 3” exhaust but kept the bottom of ...

Re: All Japanese Classic Aug.25/19 Waterfront Park

Last date of pre-registration on Sunday (tomorrow) online. Due to the electronic voting system, We do need pre entry completed prior to the show, hence the preregistration. Due to the number of classes and trophies, while keeping the show a people choice vote, it’s the only way it can be managed wit...

Re: Changing my cars attitude

That’s still a snow tire - lots of sipes, no good for gravel. They’d just shred in no time driven and any reasonable speed, especially sideways. This is where a purely gravel tire shines, and outside of rally tire makes, these are non existent in 14” any more unfortunately. Let us know what you trie...

Re: New from Sunny SoCal

Agreed, I’ve car! Thanks for sharing.
Few 510’s have remained stock, it’s nice to see one that has survived - especially a wagon as most were “used up” in daily duties.

Look forward to your updates.

Re: New member from Germany

The front bumper is interesting, but it works! Colour certainly isn’t close to original, but the car looks quite good. Bumpers can be purchased from Futo Fab in the NE US, however you would need to find the license plate light and cut the hole for mounting it. The 280ZX wheels were a common upgrade ...

I also remember that tram as a kid! I agree with you 100% Jason. I did the same road two years ago, starting from Boston Bar. No GPS, no maps. And there were a number of time when we wondered if we were in the correct road. It we ended up on the East Harrison main, and had a well deserved ice cream ...

Re: Removable radiator support

Bottom up means a wheel alignment. Byron. Only for you steering box guys! Hmm, I don’t know Jeff. With the slack in holes mounting the X member (yours or factory) and the slop in the holes for the TC mounts and the bolting on of the struts themselves.... I don’t think there’d be any difference if i...
