Id buy a 2+2 no probs if someone converted it to this roof and offered some billet 16s of the original wheels
However the work would be 100+ hours yet with a VK50VE & longer wheelbase a nice combo

Re: 240z sport wagon
its a good effort but if the roof followed the better redesign of that rear quarter window using a factory hatch it would be much nicer, classical and true to fairlady rear goodness would love to know if its a custom rear quarter window or from something else? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v604/...

Turbo Tom Giant Killer L20B turbo race car history
anyone have more photos as waybackmachine.org has none that I can find One truly inspiring Datsun story involves Tom Wyatt III, otherwise known as Turbo Tom. Turbo tom built a rather fast Turbo powered L20b Datsun 510 and entered in the "Walter Mitty" at Road Atlanta one year. The engine d...

Re: FIA head questions for the gurus PLEASE HELP
The water ports usually give it away as an early casting with the square edges. the re-sizing wont be an issue for the guides and bushing I was just worried about the towers being some weird size or offset angle to the usual steeds. My dilemma is my nostalgic feeling for Nissan heritage items that p...

Re: 1200 within days
best looking A series cover Ive ever seen! the only thing I would suggest is not using the breather at the top and putting a breather on the side or at the back much like the modern engines, that way the rocker cover looks longer and cleaner. Ive done the same to my old steel datsun rocker cover wit...

Re: 1200 within days

It was different thinking but as long as the old tin motor had proper coolant used which at that time was a real problem. I still wonder why they didnt use the Crossley into I...

Re: 1200 within days
You can make a whole billet 1200 bit by bit :) or at least an A series in bottom end by making the crankcase separate from the bore casings like the ingenious Crossley Engine :D then you can use any gearbox with a backing plate change that also strengthens bottom and the top block sections. http://c...
