Re: Alternative Modern Wiper Motor Conversions

Hi Everyone, I though i would post up a pick of what i did with the Mazda wiper motor conversion, we have found that i had to make a new bracket effectively changing the park position angle as this is not adjustable. I have attached a pic of the original wiper motor bracket and the newer one i made ...

Re: Troy Ermish Brake Setup

I have the powerlites on my rally/autocross car and was looking at the ermish setup as i think it may be a little better as far as performance as they have more pad area with the dynalite calipers than the powerlite but i just wanted to hear if anyone had any problems with these caliper's and brake ...

Re: Troy Ermish Brake Setup

Thanks for the info this will definatly help me in deciding which brake setup to eventually go for ,low maintenaince whould be ideal, i think after reading you comments that a caliper with dust seals is worth choosing and i will look into something with better pad reataining, i have heard that befor...

Troy Ermish Brake Setup

Hi ,

I was just wondering if anyone who has had the wilwood brake setup sold by ermish racing could tell me their thoughts on how good the braking is with this setup, i have taken my 510 of the road to rebuild and am looking at which brakes to use.

Cheers,

Mark

Re: 245HP heads & throttle bodies

Hi Baz,
Very nice heads you have there, could you please tell me more about the 245hp , is this the calculated horsepower from a Superflow flow bench at .500''/.600'' lift?.I have ported my own head and wanting to compare to one professionally ported.

Cheers Mark

Re: Batmans 510's

Hi ,i have seen what you are describing as part of the roll cage structure, that attaches to the rear subframe bolts, i'm just not sure what additional benefit you whould gain from this as i have limited experience with roll cages. I whould think this will reduce rear suspension geometry change. Che...

Re: Batmans 510's

I now know what you mean about the twin hoop this it not a twin hoop , it has been done the same way as you have done on the mitsubishi pictured, apart from your gusseting on the windscreen bar mine are just on the other side, these other pic's will clear things up, I remember looking at those pictu...

Re: Batmans 510's

I wanted slightly more travel than the standard 200b strut as this is for dirt/rally use, i just left it up to the guy who does the suspension, he uses 4 struts and cuts them to his desired length then welds them up on his welding jig and i'm guessing he put in some longer wet leg inserts, and reval...

510

Yes that 510 is a bit to good for a rally car , trying to resist temptation to modify it, need some new springs and shockers as they are a bit old. Heres my second 510 that i'm working on, fairly straight but lots of rust 80% of rust removed at the moment, you can see my 180b that i use at the momen...
