Re: L28det into 510?
I have a l28et swapped into my 510...all I gotta say is, avoid it unless you are okay with cutting into the 510. In hindsight, I would have done a SR20 swap since there's much more info and seems to be an easier swap.

WTB Rear Windshield Glass
WTB
Hi, i'm in need of a rear windshield glass for my 510 2dr. If anyone has one or know of a place that carries them, please let me know. I'm located in the 714 area of SoCal. Tried most of the shop around my area and no one seems to carry the rear glass!
Thanks in advance!

Re: My 71 remodeling
The dime's handling is decent, the weight of the engine had offset the balance quite a bit, really stiff coilovers are in to try to compensate as well as struts and braces and sway bars. As far as the cosmetic side, it took me about a month. it took me a while since I don't have that much free time ...

Re: My 71 remodeling
forgot to snap some picture of the engine, but here's an old one. It pretty much looks the same now, just more dressed up, and a lot of the wires are cleaned up and covered.

thanks! i'll snap some pictures of the engine bay. Unfortunately I didn't do the swap myself so there's no detail pictures, it was from the previous owner.

Re: My 71 remodeling
wished i had all the necessary equipment to pull the motor and paint the whole shell alone, but this will do at the moment. After this, I will have to redo the interior. Anyone have any suggestions or tips on carpets and laying it in? Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

slapped on the wheels to see how it'll look. Turns out the gold wheels matched the paint quite nicely, so i'm glad.

Sorry for the super long delay...lot's of things came up so I couldn't find time to finish up the project. I finally found a few days over the week to work on it little by little and am almost complete. Here's some picture I took with the phone. Hopefully by the end of this week I will have the whol...

Re: My 71 2 door remodel
the wheels were pretty scuffed up so i thought i repaint it with a different color. At first i was looking for a dark bronze color, but when i layed down the paint...they turned out more gold than bronze. Don't know if i should keep it or repaint it with a real bronze.
