Re: Who's yer 510 Sugar Daddy?
Lugs... You remember the book "Stroker Ace"? Well. I met Lugs. He was al old hot rodder that decided to go Sport Car Racing with SCCA. He built a black 510 based on the BRE car. He had all of the suspension built "by pic". A local hot shoe had been his driver (Mike Eyerly) and he...

Re: Ttach is reading too many rpm's... Help!
Thank you for your impressive review of my tach concern. Here is what I have. I have one white wire going to the + coil post through the tach and back to the coil. It is hooked up "in-line" like the schematic shows. The tach works but is not showing the true rpm's. I noticed one adjustment...

Re: Speedo signal running s15 6 speed gbox?
Get an electronic speedo. Just hook it up and pace it at 60 mph and hit the button. You now have an accurate speedo. Ain't technology great?

Ttach is reading too many rpm's... Help!
I had a usedtach installed in my '72. It is a 70-72 stock 'one white wire' tach that was used by the factory. It works but it is running too many rpm's. I am wondering if the tach "adjustment" screw in the back of the tach controls the tach count? Can it make 2000-3000 rpm adjustments? Or,...

Re: outer squeegee install?
Good job. I am curious how you "stapled" the steel backing with the rubber tab. I know the holes are there but how did you line up the staples? Did you use a commercial staple gun or ???? I used small rivots and drilled out the staple holes. I never fiegured out how to staple these parts. ...

Re: Chinese made aftermarket windshields
I saw the weight difference when I installed a "Made in China" W/S. I do not know which is bigger or smaller... The new W/S is too long for my gasket. (short gasket?) The gasket sticks up on the sides. Not bad but I noticed it immediately. We used sealer to keep it from leaking. I a guessi...

Re: outer squeegee install?
I installed my sqeegees with tiny rivots (3/32). I used the old staple holes to line it up. I have since found a set of sqeegees that you do not need to install anything. Just plug them in! They have a small S/S edge on them that goes along the S/S window strip. Looks good when installed. No one not...

Re: electroplaters in bc?
Just go to Google and type in "plating vancouver, bc". You will have many choices. We have a company locally that does what you are asking. We simply dump the parts in a plastic bucket and take them to the plater. They come back looking new. Nice for restoration.
