Re: WTS - 70 2dr 510 - SR20DET Modified 350hp Ready to Enjoy
A gentleman from Calgary purchased the car. I'm glad it didn't have to go too far away.

And it's SOLD! Very bittersweet, but it went to a long time Datsun enthusiast and good guy to boot. I probably won't be on here much anymore so Thanks for all the help I've gotten on the Realm over the years.

He seems like a nice, straight up guy. It's probably just more work on the sellers end, all I need is to get paid and make sure it gets shipped out I assume.

Re: WTS - 70 2dr 510 - SR20DET Modified 350hp Ready to Enjoy
Does anybody here have experience shipping a car to Australia from the US or Canada? I'm getting some interest from people wanting me to ship the car there and wondering if there is anything to watch for?

WTS - 70 2dr 510 - SR20DET Modified 350hp Ready to Enjoy
Hi guys, well it took a long time to decide but it's finally time to move on to something new. This car was Kevin Neely's first 510 and I'm sure it's been seen here and there over the years. I've owned it for 4 years and imported it into Canada. It's clean title in hand ready to go. Please see the k...

For Sale - Two new factory Datsun fender badges.
I was planning on putting these on my fenders but I decided against it. They are brand new in the box. Located in Alberta Canada but will ship anywhere. $60 obo. http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p149/whatthehellisapodcast/STuff%20For%20sale/IMG_7352.jpg http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p149/what...

Re: WTB: Datsun 510 Sr20det
I'm sorry I missed your post, I've got a car with a similar setup and was planning on listing it later this month. That's what I get for not checking the realm more often! The blue beast looks beautiful, you will have lots of fun with it.

Re: SolidWorks?
I know that feeling Mattndew76! I use a program similar to SolidWorks to design Jewellery. I love working in 3D, it took a very long time to get proficient but totally worth the frustration. We acquired a 3D wax printer last year (rapid prototyper) and that really adds to the fun! That intake is ama...

Re: sr20det 510
I tend to agree that it's a bit overpriced. Very cool and unique, but too rough and thrown together for that kind of money. Good luck with the sale either way.

Re: WTS 1973 Datsun 510 2-door [CA] - [20k obo]
I'm very curious as to how this sale goes because I've pondered selling my 510 which has similar mods. If you do sell it would you mind posting what you got for it? Obviously there's a lot of $$ put into it and I don't think 20k is out of the ballpark. It's a beautiful colour and the engine bay look...

Re: WTB - Door lock mechanism in good shape Drivers Side 70
Hey Trevor, any luck on finding a mechanism? I'm thinking if you don't have a drivers side one I can at least steal a spring off the passenger side. Even if it doesn't work well I may be able to scavenge parts.

Re: WTB - Door lock mechanism in good shape Drivers Side 70
Looks like I may have the name of the part wrong. I need the latch that grabs onto the door striker. I actually have a new set of locks just like you had sent Trevor. http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p149/whatthehellisapodcast/510_122_1_vga.png I may be able to get away with just replacing that sp...

WTB - Door lock mechanism in good shape Drivers Side 70 2dr
It seems to get harder and harder to lock the car on the drivers side. I pulled the mechanism out of the door to take a look at and it seems sloppy and worn out. If somebody has experience rebuilding them I would be interested to hear as well. In the meantime I'm on the search for a replacement. Nee...
