Re: "Hey" my daily driven race car!

Had a blast an the NW Nissan event. They had a autox at the Evergreen track. Of coarse I had to attend. I knew I had a good chance of placing on the way. It was so rainy. Most guys seem to not know their cars limits in the rain. I had a 5 second lead for the first few laps while guys found their car...

Re: Flat Plane Crankshaft

All 4 cylinder cranks will be 'flat plane'. As they are all 4 cycle engines (compression, fire, exhaust and intake) and there are only 4 cylinders, I don't think you could do it any other way really. Mike, you had to know that Japanese engineers would challenge that thinking sooner or later... http...

Re: NANKANG AR-1 group buy

Through that site I can get them here for 304 a tire.... The Nankangs are much cheaper. I've found them online for 1/2 the price even including shipping. I can see why you switched. My tires last about 8 months, since I daily on them they get pretty heat cycled.

Aww I see. It shows US prices, so I added them to cart and added shipping address. Few some expensive tires after shipping!

Re: Noobie's 510 project

Finding good rubber for 14’s is tough. What tires are you planning on running? What power column? We picked up a Vue column for our enduro car. It looks like quite the project to make it bolt in.

Re: Rack And Pinion exploration

Me and Sam did two rack conversions with L series. By far the hardest engine to install it on :( We just beat a big dent in a short tube header, moved the motor back as far as it would go and leaned it to the other side. Or run E85. When we ran Avgas on Dave's turbo car originally it was over 11.0 t...

Re: snow day

I dug and dug but must have tossed out my studded tires for the 510. Gotta find another set. So I was stuck driving the newly acquired 1986.5 D21 4x4 which is a beast in the snow. Although it does need a turbo. Could use a bit more power. It’s no 510!!!

Re: "Hey" my daily driven race car!

WOW!!!! The steering was great! I honestly couldn't have asked for more. Nice feedback but much less effort to steer. I had a tough time trusting it at first, I was expecting it to nub something out. It didn't though. I got first in RWD despite my R888r's are getting very very warn down. Gotta make ...

Re: 13" Wheel Rear Disc Brake Discussion

Me and Sam are working on a disk conversion for the rear of our Eunduro car. The Drums needed to be adjusted way to often and made the pedal feel yucky much to quick after re adjusted and sent back onto the track. We have a set of Z32 rear calipers and z31 rear solid rotors. Which are bigger then th...
