Re: Removable radiator support

Bottom up means a wheel alignment. Byron. Only for you steering box guys! Hmm, I don’t know Jeff. With the slack in holes mounting the X member (yours or factory) and the slop in the holes for the TC mounts and the bolting on of the struts themselves.... I don’t think there’d be any difference if i...

Re: Removable radiator support

rookies install engines from the top. Under is the only way to go. Easy to do by your self, doesn't scratch the paint either. I didn't make anything fancy. I have a few sets of the SUV jack stands. Nice I actually don't have enough length in my garage to pull it up with my cherry picker. Gonna look...

Re: 280ZX Turbo or Equivilent High Volume Pump Part Number

HI'm in parts collection mode, I have a couple of motors to build, and need some past experience from some of you that still play with L motors - yes Jeff, I know :-) The X-trail SR20DET keeps getting cheaper and cheaper. Stock HP is 280...... for 1600 bucks.... Yes It's FWD but Sam put one in his ...

Re: "Hey" my daily driven race car!

Finally got around to ordering a 1.5" sway bar for one of my 510's. For now it's going to go on my tan car for testing. If it proves itself we will be swapping it onto our endure car. it's a Speedway straight splined bar. The bar itself isn't that heavy. The arms though... wow! They technically don'...

The in car vs. spectater view rememinds me of racing this weekend. In the car it feels like your going 150mph on the edge, then you go watch and it looks so slow and boring haha.

Re: #4G63510 Brakes

I second the Porterfeild advice. I have run the R4S pads for years and have been happy with them the whole time. Never experienced any fade in all of the autocrosses and hillclimbs that I have done. I've never faded mine during compititon. After that they have free drive time. After about 3 runs ba...
