I’m running an L20B with B210 brake booster / 280ZX brake master and DCOE45s. I can’t recall the manifold brand but I think it is the short 2 piece unit from Pierce Manifolds.
I think this might be the manifold set: https://www.piercemanifolds.com/product_p/mt-0037-c.htm

Re: U67 Cylinder Head Valves
So far I’m leaning towards 44 mm intake due to bore size creating shrouding. I’m still debating about 35 mm or 38 mm exhaust.

U67 Cylinder Head Valves
I need some advice for a U67/L20B (0.5 mm to 1mm over-bore). The intent of this request is to decide on the best valve size option for the head. The head will be used with a small Garrett GT2256 turbo. The head appears to have the original brass intake valve seats so I was thinking of getting new se...

Re: Dizzy Erratic Timing
Is it possible to have a worn distributor shaft or bushing creating erratic timing especially at higher RPM?
Also, as previously mentioned, confirm centrifugal advance weights for springs and sticking due to corrosion.

Re: Door Lock Issue
I believe the 240z locks had an additional indexing rib cast on the outside of the lock cylinder. I re keyed a 240z set a while ago for my 510 (used Nissan parts, not aftermarket). I believe I just ground down the extra rib and swapped the 510 arms on the backside. I would also suggest to check the ...

Re: 350 swap
Most Datsun enthusiasts don't typically peruse V8 swaps but they are done from time to time. 510's have been done but unfortunately we do see them for sale from time to time as projects that are unfinished. I seem to recall major firewall modifications may be required. I also recall that there were ...

Re: Another Headgasket Bites The Dust
I have an update. The car has not run quite right since the head gasket was replaced. The idle and off Idle have been a bit hesitant. I spent a couple hours today looking at it. The number two cylinder seemed to be running lean. I did the usual check for compression and found about 145 to 155 PSI on...

Re: Another Headgasket Bites The Dust
Car is back together. Seemed to run ok on the test drive. I will report back if any issues come up.
I also checked the thermostat just in case. It is a 180F unit that opened at 192F (tested in pot of water on stove). I left it out for now. I will put a new one in when the weather gets colder.

Re: Another Headgasket Bites The Dust
I was using a fel-pro print-o-seal. I think I bought it from rockauto a few years back.
I also forgot to mention I was using 280zx turbo head bolts.

Re: Another Headgasket Bites The Dust
Thanks for the feedback. I am using antifreeze 50% mix in my car. Visual inspection of the block looks OK. I will have to try and borrow a straight edge and check for warping. The head was measured to be less than 0.003" variation in flatness in the center. I do believe the spec is 0.003"....

Another Headgasket Bites The Dust
It's been about 3 years now since I changed the headgasket on my car. Yesterday it decided to go again. The failure this time appears to be a water passage on the exhaust side of #3. The gasket appears to have come apart. There are witness marks in the gasket that look like it got hot. The temperatu...
