Re: 1970 2dr $4500 (SF BAY AREA)
Well I just found out my back injury is actually a herniated disk, out between my vertabre and into my spine. I was told not to drive the 510 or my bronco OR the wife's explorer because the stiffness of the 510 and the excessive movement in the suv's would cause my spine to compress and aggravate it...

Donor car for Rear Cross member Washers?
After pulling off one of my rear cross member washers to do the savage mod - I found out that someone thought it was a good idea to use a set of T/C rod washers in place of the stock ones! (it was an omgwtf bbq moment) Now I'm looking for a set. Is there a donor car (maybe the Z?) that has washers I...

Bump Steer Spacers
So I got a set of bump steer spacers - to find out they are 280z ones - and don't fit the stock 510 front end. I've seen the ones over at http://www.newoldstockmotorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=49 but do they fit the 510 struts? - I'd hate to buy a second set to find out it's the same pro...

So: The main problem - a major stumble from 1500 rpm to 3000. major richness on idle and cruse What I tried before: Leaning out mains and pilots; playing with air correctors to get rid of stumble. The fix: a balanc...

Re: Tolerances in a 44mm Mikuni carb
Mine is a snug fit, with no sideways movement - When I rebuilt mine i had to fuss with it a bit to get it to seat right; there should be no visible light around them when closed and the idle adjustment backed all the way out.
