I don't have any personal experience shipping items to or from portugal, but the labor, shipping, and price of a crossmember has to be cheaper than the price of having an oil pan custom made, not to mention the oil pickup line that most definitely would have to be fabricated.

if going that far into the engine you could go into the bottom end and do a budget sr23ve as mentioned by the nissan vvl guru andreas on sr20-forum. ive considered a build like this in the future but completing the projects I already have on my dime are more important. whoever owns this, its a wicke...

z32 brakes are not necessary since i already have some 280zx brakes and they get the job done well. I was just offered a set for little to no cost (friend totaled his car) so I am just seeing if its worth doing.
